The MPTO is proud to give back to our school community. Here is a summary of the school programming and community events we are able to support because of the generous donations received.
School Community Events
Pumpkin Festival Daytime Events
The MPTO was thrilled to sponsor the daytime events at the Middleton Pumpkin Festival! With contests, performances and a bake sale - it was truly a community event that brought everyone together!
Kindergarten Welcome Breakfast
Every year the Fuller Meadow Principal and the MPTO welcome the families of our incoming Kindergarten students. We look forward to meeting you and discussing the exciting school year ahead for you and your Kindergartner. This event generally occurs on the first day of kindergarten immediately after drop off.
Candy Bar BINGO
What is more fun than a Family BINGO night? When candy is the prize! This event returned this year, and we look forward to bringing it back again!
Teacher and Staff Appreciation
Why celebrate our teachers and staff only once when we can celebrate all year at Fuller Meadow and Howe-Manning?! We have planned some fun surprises for our teachers, instructional assistants, counselors, specialists, nurses, custodial staff and administrative staff throughout the year.
End of Year Ice Cream Social
The second End of the Year Ice Cream Social was held at Howe Manning this June. It was a huge success! This event is for ALL Middleton Elementary School children and their families.
ThrOughout the school year the mpto will be asked to assist FINANCIALLY wiTh different proJects, programs and other needs for fuller Meadow and howe-Manning.
Playground and recess equipment
As the school year progresses, the different equipment used on the playground such as balls, chalk, jump ropes etc, are worn by the constant use and need to be replaced.
Teacher reimbursement
Each school year, teachers can request a reimbursement of $75 toward purchases for in-classroom supplies.
Books Donation to each Fuller Meadow classroom
Each lead teacher at Fuller Meadow was given $25 worth of books for their classroom.
