Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We hope your kids had a great first couple days of school, and if you are a kindergarten parent, we wish you and your children the best of luck on Wednesday! For those of you I don’t know, I’m Jackie Chiumiento, and I’m the president of the Middleton Parent Teacher Organization. This is the first of our bimonthly newsletters for the 2024-25 school year—these updates are intended to provide information on what we are doing, programs being held that enrich the curriculum at our schools, and general information that’s helpful to know as a Middleton parent/guardian. Please read on for updates!

Kindergarten parents are invited to join a welcome breakfast after drop off on the first day of school. Hosted by the Middleton Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO), the event will take place on Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. at the Lot and provides a chance to meet fellow kindergarten parents. Principal Roberts and Superintendent Morrison will deliver brief remarks. Coffee and bagels will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Bring the family for some fun on September 19 from 3 pm to 8 pm and Paradise Family Golf will donate 25% of your mini golf, driving range, and ice cream purchase to the Middleton Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO). All donations go towards curriculum enrichment in Middleton Public Schools. Just bring the flyer, which will be sent home in backpacks, or you can screenshot the flyer and print from the MPTO website here.

Is your child interested in martial arts? U.S. Taekwondo is hosting a four-week special beginning in September for $30. You MUST register by September 1 to participate. 100% of the proceeds for Middleton students will be donated to the MPTO. Click here to register.

Do you own a local business or know someone who does? The Middleton PTO is currently accepting business sponsorships for the 2024-25 school year. Become a sponsor and join us in making a significant impact on the education of Middleton elementary school students!

Please join us at the next Middleton PTO meeting, which will be held on Sept. 18 at 6:30 pm in the Fuller Meadow Library. We hope to see you there!
